What we store
Receive & Label ("the app") is a Shopify public app that prints barcode price labels from inventory transfers and CSV imports.
Shop settings (default location, label field defaults, printer preference, language).
Print-job metadata used for metering: label counts, transfer ids, timestamps, and anonymous job ids.
Shopify session / ID tokens required to authenticate the embedded app.
We do not read or store customer personal information (names, emails, addresses, payment methods, or order PII). We do not request protected customer data.
What we read from Shopify
With merchant-granted scopes we read inventory transfers, inventory shipments (accepted quantities), products/variants (title, barcode, SKU, price), and locations. We do not write inventory, transfers, or products.
How we use data
Shop settings and print-job metadata are used only to print labels and to meter labels_printed usage on Shopify App Pricing. We do not use merchant or customer data (including aggregated data) to train or fine-tune models.
Sharing
We do not sell merchant data. Usage quantities are sent to Shopify via the App Events API so Shopify can bill the merchant. We do not include personal data in those events.
Retention and uninstall
On app uninstall we stop sending new usage events. Events for usage that occurred before uninstall may be flushed for up to 24 hours, then the billing period closes. Shop settings and print-job metadata are deleted when we process app/uninstalled and shop/redact.
Mandatory Shopify webhooks
We respond to customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact. Because we do not store customer PII, customer request/redact handlers return that there is no customer data to disclose or delete. shop/redact deletes remaining shop data.
